Web Developer
Overview
This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.
This position provides daily operational support for the Bank's Intranet. Gathers information and technical requirements, and provides web development expertise. Performs testing and debugging to identify and resolve technical problems. Coordinates production changes for the Intranet, partnering with business units to ensure effective communication that is timely, in scope, and in accordance with applicable governance or regulations. Responsible for daily publication of internal news on IRIS in addition to development activities.
Responsibilities
• Technical Support - Performs a variety of technical tasks to support development and production efforts. Coordinates production changes in accordance with standards, governance and regulatory requirements. Corresponds with internal clients in a timely manner to resolve technical issues and concerns. Assists in continuous performance monitoring and enhancement efforts for the Intranet. Collaborates with Information Technology partners to keep the Intranet's user experience running optimally.
• Content Development - Assists in the creation, collection, and publication of site content and materials via the Intranet. Offers stakeholders elevated service through thoughtful innovative design, workflow and guidance. Assists cross-departmental content publishers as part of the Bank's federated content publishing model to ensure quality and filing integrity.
• Communication - Collaborates daily with IRIS News writers, offering advice and guidance to ensure critical news is effectively positioned for Bank associates. Ensures brand integrity and standards are maintained.
• Analysis - Conducts research and analysis to understand channel audience needs. Utilizes analysis to develop quantitative reporting on web statistics, and to identify areas of improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Web Development or Web Design OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Web Development or Web Design
